Paul Burton (Trombone), Mike Davis (Trumpet) & Kenji Fenton (Saxophones) are the enigmatic trio that make up the Hot City Horns. Paul & Mike first met whilst studying at the infamous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2005 and after graduating went on to meet Kenji Fenton, RNCM Alumni and the inimitable Hot City Horns was born.

 

Over the past decade, the Hot City Horns have performed & recorded globally for some of the worlds most pioneering artists. Their unmatched energy on stage sets them apart and in 2018 that energy saw them become the first live horn section to join Sir Paul McCartney's touring band since he toured with Wings in the 70's. Kicking off his "Freshen Up" Tour with a surprise show at New York's iconic Grand Central Station unveiling the trio.

 

Together they have blown away spectators with artists such as Stormzy, Kojee Radical, Emeli Sande, Disclosure & Seal and performed at some of the worlds most notable venues including The Royal Albert Hall, LA Dodgers Stadium, Wembley Stadium and the Green Bay Packer's Lambeau Field. In the past 5 years the Hot City Horns have joined the bill with multiple headliners at legendary festivals including Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Japan's Summer Sonic and the Glastonbury Festival Headliner slot for Summer '22 with Sir Paul McCartney. Each band member reels a list of credits of accomplishments in their own right, and as a group they are paving the way for live horn sections in mainstream music.
